Introducing Miss Annie Dang, electric soul artist and a formidable messenger of the arts.
Annie Dang relishes herself within soul, funk, and r&b. Her most significant inspirations were rooted from the sounds of early Motown and the 90’s r&b era, setting the platform for the soulistic pilgrimage she grooves on today. Ever present are her sounds of groove and feel, soulful and heart-provoking lyricism drawn from personal experiences and life observations that engages and inspires her audiences.
Portland, Oregon has served as the platform for Annie's musical prowess, she prides herself from humble beginnings immersing herself in Portland’s raw underground music scene, while honing her craft on the guitar while serving up palatable dishes of tasty melodic tunes to open ears and hungry hearts.
As she embarks on her musical escapades, Annie’s defiant efforts to share with the musical community run stronger than ever before. Annie Dang’s newest single Shake is a heavy brew of melodic groove that will get you charged up. With its uptempo beat, smokey horn section and retro Latin tinged soul, this song will surely have listeners up and moving. With lyrics that implore you to “shake it some more and more and more ”. Annie lets you know who’s boss when she belts ”Ain’t no time for talking, oh no, ain’t no time, take it to the dance floor and SHAKE!”
